Job Summary:The Merchandise Department oversees the merchandise programs for all festivals owned in whole or part by C3 Presents. The Merchandise Partnerships Manager reports to the Senior Merchandise Manager.Responsibilities Partnerships: Identify and pitch new partnership and collaboration opportunities for festival merchandise programs that align with the merchandise strategy and current trends.Initiate outreach to secure partnership deals for multiple festival merchandise programs.Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements with brand partners, including product design, marketing initiatives, and financial deal points.Build and maintain strong relationships with external brand partners, and work with them to co-promote merchandise collaborations and cross-promote the festival through their channels.Work with internal teams to create compelling merchandise stories and strategize on content to support those stories.Develop and help execute an ecommerce strategy to highlight partnerships and collaborations, and work with internal team to execute that strategy. Licensing: Manage all aspects of merchandise licensing business for multiple festivals across C3 portfolio.Identify potential partners and companies to build a licensing program, and initiate outreach to develop licensing program and maintain relationships with licensing partners.Manage licensing agreements for festival merchandise brands, ensuring compliance with legal and financial requirements; provide oversight of all royalty reporting and payments. Sponsorship: Collaborate with C3 and Live Nation sponsorship teams to identify opportunities to incorporate merchandise into sponsor deals and add value to sponsors and festival properties.Manage merchandise-related deal points with sponsorship team, including product development, approvals, and royalties.Work with internal teams to execute merchandise-related sponsor activations, including event activations and online promotions.Monitor and report on merchandise-related sponsor performance.Skills and abilities: 5 – 7 years of experience in brand partnerships, licensing or business developmentKeen interest in the intersection of fashion, music and cultureAbility to think conceptually and work cross-departmentally to achieve goals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Clear understanding of contracts and negotiations.Familiarity with project management and team communication tools such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Slack and all Office products Detail oriented with strong follow through - able to organize and prioritize multiple projects. Resourceful, solution-oriented, and able to maintain a positive attitude in high-stress situations. Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours. C3 Core Competencies:Demonstrate integrity in the way you operate in day-to-day business and the way you deal with peopleCommunicate effectively with various audiences by organizing and delivering information appropriately and listening actively to othersProactively seek solutions to problems.  Be enthusiastic and energetic in your approach to your job.  Commit to putting in extra effort with a positive attitude.Be flexible in handling change, able to juggle multiple demands, and adaptable to new situations with fresh ideas or innovative approachesStay composed, confident, optimistic, and in problem-solving mode when the going gets toughPossess the skills needed to perform your job well, paying close attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
