Job Summary:THE TEAMTicketmaster, part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, e-commerce, and artist management. The Ticketmaster Marketing team drives fan-centric initiatives via Content, Partnerships, CRM, and Performance Marketing channels, creating campaigns to retain existing fans, acquire new fans and ultimately drive sales.THE JOBAs the world returns to live entertainment, we have a need for an imaginative, organized, and efficient content specialist to join our US marketing team as Senior Content Editor. You’ll play a critical role in planning, creating, and delivering content, social and SEO initiatives for the North America business. You will have a passion for content marketing and engaging with audiences via digital and traditional media channels.You will also work closely with the Head of Editorial and Head of Social to develop new campaigns from conceptual stages through to production and promotion.You’ll also possess excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills and will collaborate with members of the marketing team and wider business to create, facilitate, and promote word-perfect copy.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGWriting and editing social copy, blog posts, artist biographies, email copy in keeping with brand tone of voice.Assist the Head of Editorial in developing editorial strategies and content plans for our marketplace platform as well as blogs.Work with the Head of Editorial content and marketing teams to concept, create and deliver new creative campaign, social media, and editorial ideas to promote the Ticketmaster brandWork with wider team to respond to new business proposals to recommend relevant content marketing solutionsWork with the team to identify emerging content marketing trends and apply them to a wider content strategy to enhance fan engagement and increase ticket sales.Deputize for the Head of Editorial when necessaryAnalyze SEO data to ensure sure we’re picking up on emerging search trendsWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)5+ years of experience in a content marketing or editorial roleExperience using a CMS (content management system), particularly WordPress and PrismicEducated to degree level in Journalism (or a related subject) or substantial experience in digital content marketing or journalism.Previous experience of using analytics programs (such as Google Analytics) is highly desirableProven track record in delivering content marketing campaigns for an entertainment brand is highly desirableAbility to use Microsoft office software packages to a competent standardPrevious experience in working with SEO from a content or editorial perspective is highly desirableStrong competence in Google Drive, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointYOU (BEHAVIORAL SKILLS)Organized, self-motivated and capable of working on own initiativeEnthusiastic, confident and able to communicate at all levelsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong creative skillsGood time management skills with an ability to plan and prioritize competing work demandsExcellent communications skillsDemonstrable creativity and innovation in a business context relevant to the roleLIFE AT TICKETMASTERWe are proud to be a part of Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s largest live entertainment company.Our vision at Ticketmaster is to connect people around the world to the live events they love.
