We’re building and modernizing account security at eBay by introducing new ways to secure our customer’s accounts, improve identity verification and prevent fraud.As Content Design Lead, you’ll partner with UX designers, researchers and other stakeholders to develop innovative and user-centered experiences. You’ll drive impact through both your tactical work and thought leadership, while solving complex business and design problems. You’ll apply a systems mindset to support a wide range of initiatives that are central to growing, retaining and protecting our community.As a full-stack Content Design Lead, you believe writing is designing. You see language as a design material and you get others to think the same. You understand how to work in tandem with our UX design team to solve complicated problems with deceptively simple words and how to work within an established content design system. You enjoy working with cross-discipline partners to define the margins, strategies and outcomes in ambiguous spaces.Responsibilities:Develop content strategies and frameworks to drive customer adoption, engagement, and retentionLead the content design process from discovery and ideation to the final fit and finish of full-fidelity designsUse the Double Diamond design process to design, test, and iterate on user flows in close collaboration with product, design, and user research partnersDrive a cohesive product narrative and end-to-end consistency in partnership with marketing and customer support teamsCollaborate closely with the Localization team to ensure the English source content will scale to other markets in which eBay operatesRequirements:8+ years professional experience in content-focused roles with 4+ of those years on in-product UX contentA portfolio of work demonstrating human-centered design thinking and solutionsExperience leading or co-leading the design process, from early concept to launchExperience developing a product content strategy for web and mobile, including designing for accessibility and inclusivityManagement of multiple projects in a fast-paced and ambiguous environmentBachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, journalism, communications, marketing, human-centered interaction, or a related fieldBenefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
