This role will be a key player in driving remote and in-person employee events across the U.S along with supporting global employee engagement programs. The work of this role has a direct impact on our eBay GCX employee’s sense of belonging, satisfaction and connection.What will the GCX NA Engagement Coordinator do?This role will coordinate the ongoing logistics and implement plans for remote and in-person employee events throughout the year; coordinate employee branded merchandise incentives and gifts, including fulfillment; support the team on various employee engagement and development programs; and administer program calendars, timelines, budgets and reporting.Specific responsibilities to include:Complete remote and in-person site engagement plans, such as arranging the RSVP process, catering and activity vendors, and logisticsVendor coordination and management, including procurement and PO maintenanceBuild presentation decks and marketing materials for engagement programsMaintain and build eBay Hub pagesPromote programs via SlackUse team SharePoint pages and TeamUp calendarsGather and enter metric data monthlyWhat qualities does the ideal Engagement Coordinator possess?Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years relevant work experience in project management and engagement, event planning, or equivalent experienceExcellent organization skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage time in a fast-paced environmentEnergetic self-starter with a positive outlookPassionate about creating positive employee experiences through engagement initiatives, event planning, recognition programs and communicationsStrong relationship managerAble to hit the ground running to work both independently and in a team setting to achieve resultsShows initiative and take ownership of their work and solving problemsAble to collaborate effectively with people across all levels in the organizationKnowledge of eBay and GCX preferredKey Skills Required:Strong project management & execution, particularly in the event and engagement initiatives areaExperience with writing communication, intranet creation, and impact measuresAnything on hub page creation, writing copy, comms, etc?Relationship management and collaborationFlexibility & agilityOrganization, time management & prioritizationCreative problem solving and decision makingSolid understanding of Microsoft Office suite, Slack, TeamUp and SharePointBudget and vendor managementOccasional U.S. travel may be requiredReady to work hard, work smart and work with purposeBenefits are a crucial part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
