Guides coordinating release activities for a given set of products. Champion product, release, and installation quality; ensures adherence to quality standards and processes. Does basic testing of the JDA installation software and has an advanced understanding of how each installer works. Identifies and implements process improvements. Works collaboratively with product teams to understand new releases and their components. Participates in Release Management agile activities. Process the various GA/major, service, and patch releases appropriately, following standards and understanding where there are variations by product. Produces reports and metrics as requested. Provides installation test backup by working with Performance Engineering and documentation to ensure a good installation experience for the customer. Remains current with agile development methodologies as implemented within JDA, and as it applies to Product Development and Release Management. Designs and implements improvements to continuous integration pipeline with an eye towards continuous delivery. Serves as the internal advocate for product release coordination between development teams, Support, and the Release Management team. Produces or updates the appropriate Bill of Materials. Works collaboratively with QA, Documentation, Dev Support, Development, and Product Management teams to ensure that the proper components are included in a release and tested.
