Roles and Responsibilities:Posting GL entries and GL analysis.Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports.Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping.Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.Allocation of amortized monthly prepaid insurance & Monthly Prepaid Amortization.Inter-company reconciliations, Cross Charges invoices and Travel recoveries.Co-ordination with respective business departments to get accruals.Cross Charge payments to related parties.To Provide GL schedules to audit and audit support.Preparation of Fixed Asset Register and reconciliations and review on monthly basis.Bank Reconciliations Analyzing variances on monthly flux reports Monthly statutory workings and payments; TDS, GST etc. Preparing Schedules and Notes to accounts.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization.At least 4 years’ experience in general ledger accounting.Proficiency in accounting and business management software, such as workday is an added advantage.Exceptional attention to detail.
