If you are excited by technology that has the power to handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second; collect tens of billions of events each day; and evaluate thousands of data-points in real-time all while responding in just a few milliseconds, then IAS is the place for you!As The Director of Finance and Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the India Finance and Operations Center of Excellence covering operations, HR and all accounting and compliance functions for IAS, Pune.  This requires hands-on oversight across all financial management encompassing; accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, and acts as the primary point of contact in the region.The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader with strong experience who can execute quickly, operate independently, and oversee key initiatives. The role involves maintaining a highly collaborative environment that fuels innovation and fosters continuous improvement.  Connecting operations staff to the wider technical and R&D teams  is important as is inspiring and elevating your team to deliver solutions that will improve performance, efficiency, regional support, and provide thought leadership to both our internal and external customers.What you’ll do:Primary point of contact for the Pune locationCollaborate with key stakeholders, business owners, and vendors on critical business process related initiatives; develop strategies and design improvements to drive innovation and improve the overall business Manage the local finance team  and oversee key deliverables such as the Statutory Audit, Month end reporting, tax and compliance, payroll, collections.Partner with global functional leads will help manage all local employees and have dotted line responsibility for HR and workplace operation teams.Ensure that the Company complies with all applicable employment, legal, tax and regulatory requirements. Will serve as a director on the India Board.Ensure the  Finance & Accounting teams are  giving accurate and timely financial information to support and lead business decisionsHelp build and maintain a high performing, highly regarded financial reporting team through effective performance management, coaching, motivation and recruitmentDefine, establish, execute, and consistently track KPI’s and other benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performanceUnderstand and translate complex accounting technical advice to broader stakeholders as required Support consolidated financial close processes for the timely and accurate preparation of management informationWhat you'll need:15+ years experience in Finance & Accounting with 2+ years management experienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience; certifications in Accounting/Finance are a plusSolid understanding of accounting, financial statements, budget and forecasting processes and internal control proceduresBuild strong relationships with senior management & non-financial staffStrong communication, interpersonal skillsGood level of computer literacy (including Microsoft Excel and Finance & Accounting softwares)  About Integral Ad Science Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global leader in digital media quality.
