Title:  Senior Director, Corporate Finance & Analytics   Location:  Chicago, IL Job Description   Project44 is currently in search of a highly skilled Senior Director, Corporate Finance & Analytics who possesses a profound understanding of SaaS financial concepts as well as strong analytical and data science capabilities. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the company’s financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and day-to-day operations. Your primary responsibility will be focused on Corporate Reporting and Advanced Analytical Analysis.   As an FP&A professional with deep financial and analytics/data science skills, you will proactively deliver strategic insights driven by advanced analytics to relevant stakeholders.  Additionally, working closely with the accounting team, you will ensure timely and accurate financial reports are produced.     This position presents an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in FP&A, financial analysis, and data-driven decision making to drive the company’s success. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping financial strategies, optimizing resource allocation, and enabling informed business decisions.   Develop and oversee comprehensive financial models to facilitate the monthly close process and conduct variance analysis, comparing actual performance against budget and forecasted figures.   Generate detailed monthly and quarterly financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders, encompassing key aspects such as revenue performance, expense analysis, profitability assessment, headcount growth, and relevant supporting metrics.   Work with the finance team to own and maintain the forecasting process used to identify and communicate areas that may require additional rigor to drive predictability.   Monitor and communicate trends, and assess implications along with developing actionable strategies   Work across finance and our cross functional teams (Product, Sales, People, Marketing, etc.) to help drive better efficiency and productivity.   Recommend, implement and report on benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance   Preferred Qualifications   Experience with Adaptive Planning, NetSuite a plus   Data visualization experienced preferred (examples include Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik); predictive modeling skills, and understanding of AI/Machine Learning   Knowledge of Snowflake and/or Alteryx a plus   Experience advising or working in high-tech startup company with a fast-paced environment, specifically in SaaS   International experience in Europe, Asia/Pacific a plus   Excellent people management, leadership and development skills coupled with the ability to adjust to multiple demands, rapid changes and shifting priorities are essential   The highest standards of accuracy, organization and precision and the ability to think creatively and strategically while acting tactically   Demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships and work effectively with all internal and external constituencies   Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills   You must be assertive, highly driven, and self-motivated   Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with advanced analytical capabilities   Diversity & Inclusion We're designing the future of how the world moves and is connected through trade and global supply chains.
