Maven is looking for a Senior People Operations Manager reporting directly to our Director, People Operations. This role will be a champion of building best-in-class total rewards programs & sustainable people processes as Maven continues to grow and evolve. They will own our end-to-end bi-annual compensation review cycles, driving compensation & equity strategy, execution, and continual program iterations based on feedback and market forces. This role will proactively identify key areas to take our People processes, total rewards & systems to the next level and be the key project manager to move these priorities forward. The ideal candidate will have a depth of experience in total rewards with a specific focus on building innovative and scalable compensation and equity programs for a late-stage tech company.
To make our mission a reality, your skills will be accountable for:
Partner with leaders and cross-functional partners on total rewards strategy, including development of our compensation philosophy, benefits planning, and equity programs.
Drive analytical rigor and deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of systems (including HRIS management and total rewards vendor management), existing programs, establish and drive key metrics including usage, engagement, and cost analyses.
Innovate and react quickly as business and market realities change, staying up to date on best practices and trends; ensure compliance with applicable legislation - work to ensure our approach is inclusive of all Mavens in our hybrid workforce and globally.
Partner with our Sr. Analyst to complete regular compensation & equity market analyses and reviews to ensure our data & philosophy is up-to-date, accurate, and competitive.
Drive bi-annual compensation cycles in our compensation planning tool, Pave, acting as the ultimate owner of all compensation & equity data, partnering with managers on compensation decisions, and leading employee trainings.
Support the Director, People Operations with our annual Open Enrollment cycle, assessing industry trends, leading system buildout, and partnering on communications strategy to create industry leading benefits packages.
Provide guidance to People Partners & Recruiting teams around compensation decisions and total rewards philosophy.
Build strong partnerships particularly with the HRBP, Recruiting, Payroll, Legal, Finance and IT teams as well as our third party vendors to ensure our processes & systems are running seamlessly and that the People team is providing actionable & timely insights to partners.
Continually look for opportunities to optimize systems and streamline core HR workflows (onboarding and offboarding, HRIS administration, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years experience in total rewards strategy & administration.
Extensive exposure to building and successfully executing total rewards strategies and programs for hyper-growth technology companies
Track record of effectively partnering with internal senior stakeholders
Deep analytical skills with the ability to translate data and trends into key insights and recommendations; financial prowess and ability to build and manage budgets, models, etc.
For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
