Best Workplaces (2022) CNBC Disruptor 50 List (2022) Built In LGBTQIA+ Advocacy Award (2022) Maven is looking for a knowledgeable and collaborative Director of FP&A who will play a critical role shaping the FP&A organization and our processes as we scale. This role will focus on driving the development and execution of our Finance Transformation roadmap, partnering across the organization to help us analyze operations and support-strategic decision-making, and leading the implementation of process efficiencies and enhanced modeling and reporting capabilities. In addition, the Director of FP&A will provide leadership, management, and guidance to the FP&A team in close partnership with the Head of FP&A.  As a Director of FP&A at Maven, you will:  Play a key part in the preparation of annual budgets, reforecasts, business plans, and ongoing reporting requirements Partner with department leads to translate strategic initiatives and operational objectives into a financial forecast Support the continuous design and development of a FP&A tool Design and build sophisticated business cases in Excel to analyze complex financial and operational questions  Participate in special projects to enhance reporting, analytical tools and internal processes to improve high-impact decision making Lead analysis and leverage visualization tools to build out company dashboards to optimize KPI reporting Enhance and enforce the organization’s fiscal policies and procedures Develop and standardize Board of Directors-level reports and presentations for lenders and investors Support fundraising and M&A activities with detailed models and due diligence support, as well as reporting on deals/transactions in our landscape Minimum Qualifications:  8-10 years of experience across strategic finance, FP&A, business intelligence, investment banking, management consulting or similarly analytical roles Strong analytical mindset with expert financial modeling skills and ability to effectively translate data into actionable insights, strategies, and financial plans Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Experience with building and enhancing FP&A tools Superior story-telling and data visualization capabilities (experience with Looker is a plus) A track record of thriving in fast paced environments Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and manage complex projects across multiple teams High energy, high integrity leadership style with a positive outlook, collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit A sense of flexibility and prioritization in juggling both long-term, strategic projects and ad hoc, urgent requests as needed in a fast-paced startup environment Preferred Qualifications:  Healthcare experience, ideally within early stage, high growth SaaS or subscription-based business models For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $180k-$220k per year. You will also be entitled to take part in our company bonus program, stock options and benefits.
