About the Role:
As a Senior IT DevOps Engineer at Upgrade, you’ll help drive the processes and automation to increase the productivity of the employee experience. This role will act as a consultant to the business and find ways to aggregate data across many systems and develop integrations to enhance the workflow of the IT team and others.
What You’ll Do:
Analyze data across various systems and develop data maps
Identify and develop tooling to automate to increase accuracy and efficiency
Develop framework for future system integrations
Automate deployment, monitoring, management and incident response
Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues
Build and scale the technology infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand
Manage cross-functional requirements working with various company stakeholders
Collaborate with various departments to bring new features and services into production
Develop and improve operational practices and procedures
What We Look For:
5+ years of relevant experience
Understanding of corporate IT architecture and debugging/investigation techniques
Strong understanding of systems, networking and troubleshooting techniques
Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging and cost management tools
Strong programming/scripting knowledge - Python, Powershell, Terraform
Ability to operate in an agile, entrepreneurial start-up environment
Nice to Have:
AWS certification is a plus
Experience with other IaaS platforms is a plus
Google Workspace Automation (GAM) is a plus
