The Zephyr for Jira product is undergoing a transformation to better align our products to the end users’ requirements while maintaining our market leading position and strong brand reputation across the Test Management Vertical. As a QA engineer, you will be integral part of this transformation and will be solving challenging business problems and build highly scalable and available applications that provide an excellent user experience.
Desired Skills
· 2 - 4 years of experience in software development lifecycle.
· Perform quality assurance testing inclusive of unit, systems, integration and regression testing, and support development of test automation
· Coordinate and support integration, end-to-end testing with peer Test Engineering groups to ensure seamless code releases.
· Ensure delivery of a high quality product meeting all requirements within the scheduled timeframe
· Collaborate closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any application issues
· Develop innovative approaches to accommodate tight schedules and resource constraints using test automation.
· Build and implement scalable, reusable test automation frameworks.
· Good programming skills and experience Java.
· Demonstrated ability to work well with a globally distributed team in a high performance organization
· Proactive, willing to take ownership, ability to quickly learn new technologies and take up new tasks and initiatives
· Should have excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
· Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, application design, and implementing large components for enterprise projects
· Experience in system automation using framework such as Cucumber
· Working familiarity with the entire software development lifecycle including version control, build process, testing, and code release.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well with a globally distributed team
· Thrive in self-motivated internal-innovation driven environment.
Must Have :
· Must have worked on test automation and should have demonstrated ability of automating manual test scenarios.
· Strong QA Fundamentals
· Experience in testing web application
· Good understanding of Windows and Linux environments
· Knowledge in SQL database
· Experience in REST API testing
· Proficient in Java/Java Script
Nice to have :
· Good understanding of Agile methodology
· Experience in mentoring junior team members
· Experience with BDD/Cucumber
· Experience with Rest Assured
· Good to have knowledge on Selenium/cypress
· Experience with Atlassian JIRA
