Job Description Test Engineer ( Automation)
Simpplr is looking for Test Engineer (Automation) with a drive and eagerness to contribute to the performance, reliability and ensure quality of our product . Roles & Responsibilities
Design, implementation, maintenance and improvement of automation test scripts and automation framework
Understand, apply and optimize appropriate test mechanisms (functional, regression.smoke.) and tools to improve the verification efficiency through automation
Continuously improve the automation framework, tools, and processes.
Prioritize and manage workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines
Providing feedback on release readiness
Participation in requirement analysis and walkthrough
Skills Required
2-5 years of industrial experience in software testing
Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation testing
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
Strong proficiency in Java programming language(Core Java).
Experience with Cucumber BDD and writing Gherkin scenarios.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
Good knowledge of test frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG.
Should be capable of writing test cases in BDD (Gherkin) format and manually test before automating.
Experience using Jenkins/Github workflow Pipeline for CI/CD.
Good knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or JMeter.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Hands-on experience of JIRA & Zephyr.
