About the Role:  Sift is looking for a Senior Manager, Revenue Operations who is ready to leverage their knowledge and experience to make a big impact. We're looking for someone with complete mastery of revenue operations with ASC 606 compliance, billing, revenue variance analysis, and driving special projects. Our ideal candidate is first and foremost a problem-solver and team player who works fast and efficiently without ever losing attention to detail. Responsibilities: Approve contracts/deals from revenue recognition perspective and occasionally work with Sales team on deal structures. Perform revenue accounting closing procedures as part of the financial month end close. Work closely with the sales operations team to assure bookings workflow to invoices is accurate. Collaborate with the finance department to explain any unusual trends regarding receivables. Manage the sales tax/VAT regulations covering the company’s sales. Work with the global Sales team and customers to resolve any customer-facing issues timely and accurately. Ensure integrity of key processes by understanding systems, flow of transactions and internal controls. Manage cross functional, quote to cash process and system initiatives to gain efficiencies and effectiveness. Manage cash collection efforts and ensure the Company’s AR aging is maintained current and implement credit check process when on-boarding new customers. For non-paying customers, implement policy and process to ensure proper resolution of overdue invoices and/or propose methods of collecting payment. Work with finance and business operations teams on process/systems improvement projects by identifying opportunities for process improvements, automation of current manual processes, and drive the implementation of new solutions. What would make you a strong fit:   BA/BS degree Accounting or Finance 10+ years of progressive SaaS revenue accounting experience; including 5+ years in a startup or high-growth B2B SaaS company Strong initiative, intellectual curiosity and willingness to take ownership of complex problems High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the capability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders Process oriented and able to streamline processes wherever possible/necessary Experience scaling a team Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, and other financial and billing systems including proficiency in MS Excel An expert of SaaS related revenue recognition and SaaS metrics, particularly with usage-based pricing; experience with M3ter preferred A little about us: Sift is the leading innovator in Digital Trust & Safety.
