We're looking for someone with a successful track record building software products. This role will be at the forefront of our technical innovations efforts.  What will you do at Presence? Works with Product Managers and Senior Engineers to develop the software architecture we need to scale up our platform Lead the architecture design activities including prototyping code, researching emerging technologies, developing applications and microservices, and DevOps pipelines Implement the core functionality that our users see and interact with daily, making your role essential to the success of our business Work across the application stack: frontend, backend, data layer, and dev ops Deploy application components to the AWS cloud Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and technical product owners to write, test, and deploy your code safely to production Participate in a strong culture of ownership, pragmatism, testing, teaching, and learning Work closely with Product, Design, Platform Services, and Release Management teams to contribute to our application roadmap Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues within the application Provide and share technical expertise by mentoring junior developers.  What are we looking for?   Deep, hands-on experience in the architecture, design and development of complex solutions Experienced in hands-on technical leadership to development and release projects Full Stack Engineer with 10+ years experience developing in a modern REST API framework; Python/django preferred.  Ruby/rails, Go, Java, NodeJS OK too. Solid understanding of building images/containers and deploying them via a modern container orchestration framework such as ECS, EKS/AKS/GKE, or similar Experience building CI/CD pipelines. An employee’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. Salary range $180,000.00-$210,000.00 Where is this position located? Presence is headquartered in New York City with our clients located throughout the U.S. This position is remote US based and may require travel. All employees commit to be available on-camera for our Core Working Hours noon-5pm EST M-F.
