SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
You will join Cloud Native Business unit, which is responsible delivering highest quality Portworx suite of products. You will be contributing to cleanest code, being customer oriented and putting quality first. As a Control plane developer in the Portworx team, you will be responsible for design and implementing various features and products on Portworx portfolio. Your responsibilities include:
Developing and integrating new features to Portworx products
Bringing a focus on design, development, unit testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration and continuous deployment
Collaborating with peers and stake-holders to take solutions from initial design to production
Experimenting with new technologies in order to push the state-of-the-art and innovate new solutions
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
6+ years of experience in designing, developing and testing various product components using one or more of the following languages: C/C++, Python, Go
Proven design sensibility and the willingness to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment
Knowledge of Kubernetes and Containers
Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment.
Solid CS background in data structures, algorithms and software design
What Can Give You a Head Start
Knowledge of SAN, NAS storage products - Read/Write IOPs, IO datapath.
FIle System protocols: NFS, SMB
Familiarity and hands-on experience volume snapshots and datapath testing
Ability to deploy and use 3rd party tools to simulate IO test workloads
