Overview of the Role PagerDuty is looking for an Strategic Account Executive Sales Professional who will identify and bring to closure PagerDuty product and service opportunities within the western region of North America. In the spirit of PagerDuty’s “Champion the Customer '' value, you will be responsible for providing the best possible sales experience for our customers by identifying gaps in a customer’s environment, and then translating that gap and deficiency into a business-oriented point of view and articulating the impact of removing that gap. This individual will be accountable for the overall health and sales performance of the territory of defined accounts, and will bring with you meaningful  sales experience in any of the following: multi-product modern SaaS platforms, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics. How You Will Impact Our Vision Generate revenue by selling, managing, developing and growing current customers for PagerDuty’s largest and most strategic accounts Develop and maintain the relationships within your named accounts Understands stakeholder needs and effectively communicates how PagerDuty will meet them by leveraging MEDDIC & Command of the Message Framework Demonstrate selling value to key partners within accounts through both onsite visits (when possible) and via web conference toolsUnderstand customer goals and challenges, and establish PagerDuty’s product as the best solution available. Conduct customer presentations daily and weekly, including discovery, demo, proof-of-value, proposal reviews, and business value assessments.   Ability to resolve problems of complex and unique scope by leveraging relationships internally and externally, Work daily in Salesforce   for all lead management and sales forecasting Required Experience/Skills 6+ years of technical B2B closing experience carrying a quota Experience selling SaaS solutions to C level executives, including technical product demo experience, selling to a technical audience Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota  Experience with sales process or qualification methodologies including deal management, account planning, and analytical skills. Local to Bay Area The base salary range for this position is 132,000 - 182,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits. Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
