Overview PagerDuty is building out its global Accounting and Finance function and is looking to hire an accounts payable professional for the position of AP Specialist (individual contributor). We are looking for someone who will support the finance department by scaling our company’s global accounts payable function. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for increasing efficiency and accuracy in our accounts payable process by using our current processes and ensuring standard methodologies as we implement new processes, systems, and tools. The Accounts Payable Specialist role is that of an individual contributor on the P2P Team and reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.  Key Responsibilities Independently, accurately process between 300-400 invoices each month; PO and non-PO invoices Facilitate payments and control expenses by processing invoices in Coupa, our tool for facilitating the P2P process as well as supplier management from onboarding to networking Own the organization and maintenance of the AP inbox to ensure inquiries are answered and processed expeditiously within established SLAs Act as a liaison between internal business users and suppliers to successfully facilitate correct and timely payments and independently resolve invoice issues and disputes expeditiously within established SLAs   Answer inquiries in an efficient and courteous manner, expeditiously within established SLAs  Maintain complete and accurate accounts payable reports and files, providing insights into trends or process improvement opportunities where possible Reconcile and analyze accounts, as required to ensure accuracy of records, payments, and liabilities Assist with monthly cash forecasting processes to inform decisions of other functions around money movements and contracting  Review and process expense reports in Expensify for up to 250 users monthly Independently complete AP metrics reporting to provide signals that the business needs to look deeper into its process Perform other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar program, or equivalent experience 3+ years’ experience successfully owning the end-to-end completion of  full cycle accounts payable and expense reports, including invoice entry 1+ year of experience with accounts payable systems  Working knowledge of Full Cycle Accounts Payable and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Proficient with Excel, Google Suite products  Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to all levels of the company and external suppliers Preferred Qualifications Experience in the tech or comparable industry with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment Experience with the Coupa P2P system, CoupaPay, and NetSuite Experience with automation applications such as OCR Not sure if you qualify?
