Lead Corporate Counsel

This person will also provide legal advice and counsel to internal clients at all levels on compliance and commercial matters, support day-to-day initiatives and long-term strategies of OneTrust . Your Mission Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including software licensing, support services, and nondisclosure agreements    Understand key IP, commercial, finance and HR requirements    Keep up-to-date on applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidance    Drive compliance in day-to-day sales activities, including providing training   You Are An excellent communicator with all levels of an organization, including executive leadership     An excellent project manager and able to take ownership of stakeholders and solutions      Assertive and able to negotiate complex legal transactions     Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced and challenging environment      Your experience includes:   (US) JD from an accredited U.S. law school required  / (UK) Lawyer qualified in a European Jurisdiction   (US)   Member of a State Bar in good standing     7+ years of transactional legal experience, preferably in an in-house software or technology company    Extra Awesome Native or Fluent (Enter Specific Language Needed) Speaker    Knowledge of US and/or EU privacy/security laws (including CIPP certification)     High volume commercial transactions experience with a software or other technology company, including experience with negotiating licenses and contracts for software and related services   Benefits As an employee at OneTrust, you will be a part of the OneTeam. That means equity, bonuses, unlimited PTO, and 100% paid medical benefits (and that’s just the beginning!).    Our employee rewards philosophy spans mental, physical, and emotional well-being because we want our people to succeed both in and out of the office. Some benefits differ depending on region, but here’s what you can expect from our OneTeam Total Rewards Program:   Competitive Compensation:  We offer top pay for top talent with competitive total packages including equity for all, performance bonuses, and retirement savings with match.
