We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Director to drive the growth of our identity-focused software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Business Development Representatives, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and shaping our market position in the identity and SaaS industry. What you’ll do: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the identity and SaaS space, including market segments, industry verticals, and potential partnership opportunities Manage a team of Business Development Representatives who are responsible for building and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective clients and strategic partners through targeted research, networking, and relationship-building activities Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and expand the customer base for our identity-focused SaaS solutions Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop compelling value propositions, sales collateral, and marketing materials that resonate with target customers and partners Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target organizations to understand their needs, challenges, and priorities, and position our solutions effectively Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and customer success, to ensure smooth onboarding and successful implementation of new customers and partners Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities, risks, and potential areas of differentiation for our identity-focused SaaS solutions Prepare and present regular reports and updates to the executive team on business development activities, progress, and key metrics Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to represent the company, build relationships, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices How you’ll measure success: Execute on BD plan, hit SQL goal Manage team such team hits BDR generated pipeline goal Fully staffed with a strong partnership with recruiting to maintain consistent pipeline Ensure team is meaningfully engaged Establish and maintain Executive level relationships at Strategic Accounts Number of SQLs generated Amount of BDR-attributable pipeline created Amount of BDR-attributable ACV closed Successful culture Fully staffed team What you’re great at:   Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry Strong understanding of identity management, access controls, authentication, and related security concepts, with experience in selling identity-focused solutions being a plus Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, think creatively, and develop innovative solutions Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and financial metrics to inform business development strategies and decision-making Self-motivated and results-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets and drive revenue growth Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines Knowledge of the identity and SaaS industry landscape, including key players, trends, and emerging technologies How You’ll be Rewarded: At CLEAR we help YOU move forward - because when you’re at your best, we’re at our best. The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 depending on levels of skills and experience. The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance.
