The primary reason is cost: the majority of therapists do not accept insurance, meaning paying for therapy is prohibitively expensive for prospective patients. This is where we got our start – Headway has built the first software-enabled network of therapists who accept health insurance, making it easy for therapists to grow their practices, and possible for patients to find quality care they can afford.

About the Team & Role
As Headway’s first Lifecycle Marketer, you’ll play an integral role in scaling Headway’s lifecycle marketing function. Reporting directly into Headway’s Provider & Patient Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our provider’s communication journey with Headway is world-class and seamless – and that it drives results.
You Will
Own our provider’s end-to-end communication journey with Headway – from acquisition and conversion to onboarding, retention and expansion
Partner closely with our comms, sales, and customer success teams to ensure that we deliver a consistent and world-class experience to customers throughout the lifecycle
Own day-to-day execution – from the content and strategy to building emails and segments in our messaging tools (Marketo, Intercom, Sendgrid, ChurnZero, etc)
Support the strategy and execution of various communication channels – from email and SMS to in-product messaging
Establish reporting for key metrics throughout the lifecycle (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates)
Define a testing roadmap to improve both new and existing touchpoints
You’d be a great fit if…
You have 3-7 years of lifecycle marketing experience, preferably in health tech
You’re comfortable with a broad CRM tech stack (e.g. Saleforce, Marketo, Intercom, etc) – ideally, you have either implemented or owned one of these tools in the past
You’re obsessed with details – you triple-check before pressing send
You’re empathetic and relationship-obsessed – both with internal collaborators and customers
You have strong track record of driving quantifiable results
