We are seeking a Buyer/Planner with experience in electronic devices, enclosures, and accessory MRO parts. As a Buyer/Planner, you will be working in a fast-paced environment developing next generation RADAR systems. This position will report to the Supply Chain Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES Convert build plans for assemblies into purchase orders for raw materials Manage suppliers and POs as needed for timely delivery per PO terms. Coordinate and communicate internally and externally as needed to manage design and schedule changes Support raw material consumption and various inventory control activities, including backflush, cycle count, kitting parts, and kit audit Support for production control and materials movement, including movement of materials through Receiving, Inspection, and MRB NPI procurement. Work with engineering teams to source and purchase prototype and pre-production material REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Experience in purchasing and material planning for electronic devices, including commodities such as PCBAs, PCBA components, machined parts, custom cables, molded plastic/metal, fasteners, etc. Experience in Oracle NetSuite or equivalent ERP for creation and management of all aspects of the supply chain (Planning/Buying/Building/Shipping) Experience in NPI procurement/inventory control Ability to take high level direction and be self-managed Effective communication skills Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with a desire to improve processes Ability to make smart trade-offs as business needs and environments change Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Ability to work collaboratively with various groups Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint QUALIFICATIONS 5 or more years’ experience in electronic device purchasing/planning role BA degree in related field or equivalent experience   Echodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant’s eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.  Therefore, we will ask you as part of the application process to identify whether you are a U.S. Citizen or green card holder, or have asylum/refugee status in the U.S.    WHAT WE OFFER The pay range for this position is $63,900 to $95,800 per year.  Our comprehensive benefits package currently includes: Incentive stock options Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage benefits for employee and family members Unlimited vacation, 12 paid sick days, and 9 paid holidays Company paid disability, life insurance, employee assistance program and travel insurance 401k Plan   Echodyne is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce.
