What You’ll Do As we continue our business momentum and global expansion, we are seeking an exceptional  VP Client Development, Publisher to further develop, lead and grow our existing base of DoubleVerify Publisher Suite (DVPS) clients. The ideal candidate is a highly engaging, intelligent and solution-oriented revenue leader with a deep-rooted network and thorough understanding of today’s digital media and ad tech ecosystems.  The VP of Client Development is accountable for and has direct accountability for existing DVPS revenue and people management of the Publisher Client Development team in both the US and EMEA offices at DoubleVerify.  A critical front-line function, the Client Development team is responsible for day-to-day customer relationship management, revenue retention and upsell of all publisher clients utilizing DoubleVerify products and services.  The VP Client Development will work closely across all teams and functions including Sales, Implementation, Product, Legal and Finance to deliver world class customer service and relationship management.  The VP Client Development will be a part of the DVPS leadership team and will report directly to the SVP Publisher Sales & Client Services. Lead, develop and mentor a global group of publisher account managers through active coaching, performance management, goal setting and recruitment Actively deepen and elevate relationships across the DVPS client base to promote long-lasting, strategic client partnerships and accelerated revenue growth Establish relationships with C-Level contacts at all DVPS clients to ensure continuity of ongoing partnership; includes leading strategic meetings globally to ensure flawless market expansion, execution and client satisfaction Develop and administer training program for new hires as well as on-going training initiatives and activities. Constantly monitor and improve customer satisfaction as it relates to the DoubleVerify product functionality, implementation, stability and usage. Provides accurate revenue reporting and strategic updates to the DVSM and DVPS Leadership teams, including presentation of revenue and publisher satisfaction reports Partner w/cross-functional internal support teams as appropriate to provide client product feedback, commercial needs, internal process and execution Demonstrates agile, proactive problem-solving skill-sets Finesse sometimes complicated relationships with Publisher clients and ensure the successful management of customer expectations to promote retention. Drives a fun, inclusive, positive and collaborative culture throughout the DVPS organization, and actively participates as a key member of the DVPS Leadership team Partner with VP Client Services to ensure the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction Attend industry events and speak as a representative of DoubleVerify to the larger digital marketing industry Regularly visit clients and DVPS team members for in-person collaboration Who You Are Work Location:  New York Proven business leader with deep industry expertise and significant experience selling media, data, technology and/or software solutions into multiple stakeholders at ad tech companies and publishers Proven track record of successfully managing, mentoring and growing client-focused teams to meet and exceed upsell and retention goals Process-oriented and disciplined, highly adept at working with sales teams to drive the customer renewal process from account planning to negotiating and contracting, and through complex and varying sales cycles Deep and established network at industry leading and global Publishers Highly engaging, effective and persuasive communicator, with an innate ability to present complex subject matter into easily digestible content for client consumption throughout various levels and functions within an organization Proven ability to balance the need of the customer while maintaining corporate objectives. Ability to work with internal teams and external customers to find solutions to challenges they face. Organized with a rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive “can-do” approach. Bachelors or Master’s degree or comparable experience 7+ Years experience in Digital Media / Ad Tech / The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $169,000- $248,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
