Position Overview
The Customer Transactions Team Lead (CTLT) will play a key role in recruiting, onboarding and supporting a new team of customer transactions specialist at Diligent. The CTLT will be responsible for Diligent’s contract review process in Salesforce (SFDC) and NetSuite. This is a highly visible role within our accounting function that will partner with the sales teams to ensure customer contracts are accurately represented in SFDC prior to workflow integration with our ERP and invoicing.
Candidates should have a customer centric focus and be able to partner with our sales organization to ensure an efficient and accurate sales process. Reporting to the Manager of Customer Transactions, this role will have a high impact on Diligent’s revenue recognition and accounts receivable processes. This role will also actively participate in the integration of acquired companies. This role will offer great learning opportunities collaborating across multiple internal departments including sales and finance to ensure our global customer contracts are accurately represented in SalesForce prior to workflow integration with our ERP and invoicing. Someone who will hit the ground running in this role will have great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and demanding global environment.
This is a hybrid role based out of our office in Vancouver, Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Review and manage the approval of a high volume of customer contracts in SFDC triggering the automation of other accounting processes
Ensure the timely invoicing of customers through NetSuite in alignment with contractual terms
Maintain and be accountable for having a thorough understanding of Diligent products and services
Support the Customer Transactions Manager on the integration of acquired companies in SFDC
Assist and drive the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices
Required Experience/Skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written supporting global customers is preferred.
2-3 years of experience in Team Lead or Management position supporting a high volume based customer support organization. Must have strong attention to detail and prior experience assisting with contracts would be an advantage.
Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility to accommodate different situations and temperaments
Superior organization and prioritization skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and demanding global environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Experience with NetSuite and DocuSign would be an advantage.
