About the role: The Technical Consultant (TC) is a critical role for the success of our Services team and company. You will be a technical product expert navigating customers' more complex tasks such as integration and customization. Working closely with our customers and internal teams from Sales, Product Development, and Customer Success, you will develop solutions within current Demandbase products to meet customers’ needs. You’ll be responsible for listening to customer challenges and gathering customer requirements in order to develop consulting services to enable our customers to better utilize the Demandbase suite of products with success. We’re looking for candidates with excellent project management skills, technical acumen and strong knowledge and experience across the following B2B related applications:  CRM (Customer Relationship Management) SFDC, Microsoft Dynamics, SugarCRM, FreshSales or other B2B CRM applications Focus in the area of Salesforce automation (SFA), Lead Management and Marketing MAP (Marketing Automation Platform) Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, FreshMarketer, Silverpop, Act-on or related B2B focused MAP Focus on marketing automation, lead scoring, lead nurturing and campaigns automation The base compensation range for this role is: $130,991 - $174,655 What you’ll be doing: Consult with customers to determine their challenges and requirements Serve as a technical subject matter expert on Demandbase’s architecture and the marketing technology space.  Partner closely with the customer account team (Account Executive, Growth Account Director and Customer Success Manager) to drive and strengthen the customer relationship  Work closely with customers and the customer account team to solve complex technical needs  Provide technical consultations for architecture integration and service optimization  Manage technical feature requests and requirements that are key to the customer’s success and process workflow Develop a trusted- technical advisor relationship with customers and provide recommendations based on the Demandbase solution to address their business needs Collect feedback and learnings from custom service engagements to be leveraged in fixed scope, fixed fee services Educate, train, and support our clients to ensure optimum utilization of our product suite What we’re looking for: 5+ years of experience in an externally client-facing technical role Solid understanding of CRM and Marketing Automation solutions Experience articulating complex technical topics, diplomatically addressing customer concerns, while providing consistent and high levels of customer satisfaction and retention in a fast-paced environment Previous Technical Account Manager or Solutions/Sales Engineering experience is preferred Proven ability to provide a quick resolution to problems Project Management / PMP skills preferred by not required  Experience with CRM integrations preferred  Benefits: Our benefits include options for up to 100% paid Medical and Vision premiums for employees, flexible PTO policy, no internal meeting Fridays, Modern Health mental wellness platform, and 11 paid holidays and 2 additional weeks where all Demandbase employees take off (the week of July 4th and the week of Thanksgiving).
