In-House Counsel, Regulatory Affairs (Latin America)  As a Manager on Astranis's Regulatory team, you will drive spectrum and satellite licensing activities to support future satellite programs. You will work closely with a wide array of teams throughout the company, and will have direct interaction with senior business and government leaders in the United States and abroad. Astranis is rapidly scaling its satellite production activities, so this role will have significant growth potential. Come help get the next 4 billion people online! Role Drive the licensing of geostationary communications satellites from pre-launch to end-of-life  Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to develop long term plans, and execute on those plans Interface with foreign governments and regulators  to manage the end-to-end satellite services licensing process Manage the procurement of relevant landing rights for all of Astranis’s satellites Requirements JD or foreign equivalent from an accredited law school Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state Excellent communication skills with legal and non-legal audiences High adaptability; ability to gain expertise in multiple regulatory areas Willingness and ability to travel Preferred -- Native or working fluency in Spanish Preferred -- Experience working with telecommunications regulators in Latin America Bonus Direct experience working with relevant national and international regulators Significant understanding of, and demonstrated ability working with, national regulators to secure satellite landing rights Prior experience working for a relevant satellite industry regulator All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity, robust benefits, and bonuses. What we offer:  Base pay is a single component of Astranis' total rewards package, which may also include equity in the form of incentive stock options, performance bonuses, high quality company-subsidized healthcare, disability and life insurance benefits, flexible PTO, 401(K) retirement, and free on-site catered meals.   Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.
