The Data Analytics team at Blind focuses on delivering key insights to both business and product teams all across the company. We work with various tools and data sources to tell stories and make recommendations. Our partners rely on us to provide the insights & product knowledge to help them make the right decisions to keep our company & community growing!
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to work with our Community & Growth teams. You will help us understand user behavior, identify new opportunities, and develop community policies, in order to maintain a strong and vibrant community and increase engagement. We have a large community of users with different backgrounds, different experience levels, and different preferences. How do we architect a product that meets the needs of users and feels personalized? There is a treasure trove of data to structure, process, and utilize - so we are looking for people who are excited by this type of challenge.
Responsibilities
Develop a holistic understanding of our product and business
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build insightful dashboards to inform business decisions
Work with product and engineering teams to build functioning data tracking and pipelines
Work cross-functionally to compile and test key questions and hypotheses
Apply a breadth of tools, data sources, and analytical techniques to drive answers
Communicate your findings in a simple and digestible way
Basic qualifications
4+ years of experience working with consumer products, preferably ones that have reached millions of users
Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business analytics, statistics, other related fields or equivalent work experience
Ability to write SQL queries to build new dashboards and answer new questions
Experience working with cloud-based big data systems (Redshift, Spectrum, etc.)
Experience in communicating with and presenting to senior leaders & executives
Preferred qualifications
Working knowledge of managing data pipelines is a plus (via Airflow or other automation tools)
Ability to influence diverse audiences and produce narratives around the data
Comfort in working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Blind's minimum cash compensation salary range for this role is $135,000.00 to $175,000.00 USD per year. This salary range includes compensation for multiple job levels. Your job level will be based on an assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask about to understand in more detail. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors. Salary is just one component of our total rewards package for employees at Blind.
