Who we are
Path is a healthtech company dedicated to making mental health care work for everyone. Path takes a patient-first approach, where treatment is more accessible, personalized, and effective. With Path, it’s easy to find a high-quality therapist or psychiatric clinician who accepts insurance and is actively accepting new patients.
What we’re solving
Over 65 million Americans have a treatable mental health issue — that’s 1 in 5 people. Today it’s difficult to find a provider, and for those with complicated conditions, it’s nearly impossible to find coordinated care. We’re here to fix this.
Our Mission
Path's mission is to make mental healthcare work for everyone.
The Role
Join a growing Financial Operations team that strives to put patients first every day by delivering a good billing experience, which is really challenging to do in healthcare today. There are endless opportunities to make a lasting impact on the experiences of patients, providers and colleagues. You will touch many different parts of Path to help everything run smoothly. Our team is hardworking and strives to change the status quo. If you are hungry to learn and teach it to others, this is the role for you.
Our core Financial Operations team is small but making great strides to become a leading class revenue cycle organization. Our upward trending collection charts highlight the team’s performance, but we want to continuously improve (i.e., improve cash velocity and collection rates, reduce denials (errors), and maintain satisfaction (patients, providers, and internal stakeholders)). As Path continues to grow into new states and acquire new payer contracts, we will have to navigate new challenges that require optimization, standardization, and training. We are open to all ideas and move quickly to implement the most impactful ones. By joining this team, you will support how our teams across the revenue cycle (billing, collections, denial management, verification of benefits) operate every day. You will analyze and apply data to make a difference in our processes. This role will be responsible for the central repository of Revenue Cycle tools and guides that will be used by Path team members and vendors.
