Summary
The Workday Manager will lead the oversight and administration of the Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS) platform. This includes the platform configuration and architecture to ensure best practices. This individual will work closely with various teams within the organization to support and enhance the functionality of the system to meet business needs. This position will also provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the Workday team.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Workday administrators to ensure the accuracy and completeness of HR data within Workday.
Lead the management of system configuration changes, including but not limited to business process changes, security changes, and integrations.
Manage Workday-related projects, ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to develop and implement system enhancements.
Stay current on Workday releases and new functionality and lead the effort to implement relevant updates.
Provide expert-level support to resolve complex technical issues.
Partner with internal and external partners to identify and recommend system improvements.
Develop and maintain complex Workday reports and dashboards to support HR and business needs.
Lead the development and implementation of SOX controls for Workday.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls and perform periodic audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Drive the creation and implementation of Workday-related policies and procedures.
Provide training and support to end-users and other members of the Workday team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.
10+ years of experience with Workday or similar HRIS software.
5+ years of experience in a leadership or manager level role.
Strong experience managing system configurations and integrations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with SOX controls and experience implementing them in an HRIS environment.
Workday certification in one or more modules.
Experience with managing Workday in-house while also partinging with third party application management services.
Experience with multiple Workday modules including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Benefits, and Payroll.
Experience with data analytics and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Visier.
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $168,000 - $193,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for Colorado Based Applicants: $161,000 - $185,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for New York Based Applicants: $184,000 - $211,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for Washington Based Applicants: $168,000 - $193,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
