Job Overview: Th Accounts Receivable accountant will report to the Revenue & AR Manager. This position's primary role is to be responsible for the full AR cycle including Month-end Tasks. This role will handle day to day AR transactions and perform aspects of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting close processes within the Accounts Receivable Department. This role will also be responsible for collections to meet company goals on a monthly basis. In addition, the Accounts Receivable  Accountant will also need to have ASC 606 knowledge to be able to create sales orders in the system. Great interpersonal skills, excellent English verbal and written communication skills, ability to self-start, ability to meet deadlines, ability to follow procedures accurately, strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this position. Responsibilities: Create Sales Orders on Net in accordance with ASC 606. Build billing schedules and issue invoices  per the schedule in the system, manage POs for invoicing, Manage collections: payment applications, and managing credit memos, wire fees, WHT, VAT, and GST. Prepare A/R aging status reports. Address potential "at risk" customers early by Monitor customer account details, investigate non-payment issues timely and communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve outstanding balance Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual close process through preparation of account reconciliation schedules (including AR reconciliation and allowance for doubtful accounts) and JE’s. Also assist with annual external audit activities and quarterly reviews. Support our global sales teams regarding questions about billing and contracts and other accounting team members with any questions about billing and contracts.  Monitor AR inbox and respond to resolve inquiries or issues Support special projects (e.g. system implementations), process/control improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects Basic Qualifications: 4+ years AR and collection experience including month-end reconciliations.  2+ years in SaaS industry or software industry experience BA degree in Accounting or other Finance related field Good understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standard Experience building relationships and working with cross functional teams Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment from high growth SaaS companies preferred Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrate expertise of analyzing processes and implementing process, and work on system/process improvement to reduce manual work and to improve operational efficiency Ability to juggle multiple tasks, work cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization, whether internally or externally to support rapid growing business. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Advanced Excel Skills.
