Opportunity Overview: The People Team at Cohere is seeking a motivated, energetic, Sr. HR Generalist to help build the foundation of the HR Operations Team. This is a unique opportunity to help create the HR infrastructure by helping to define, build and implement tools, processes and procedures that will help elevate the function and provide structure and resources for our leaders as we continue on this growth trajectory. The ideal candidate for this role will have a wide range of HR Generalist experience across benefits administration, compensation, leave administration, HRIS systems (ADP a plus), data entry, on and off boarding, and reporting. In addition, a strong desire and willingness to collaborate, partner and share ideas openly. What you will do: You will have the opportunity to work with and make your mark with a dynamic, energetic team that values ideas, thinking outside the box, and working hard to build the best foundation we can for HR Operations. In addition, this dynamic candidate will: Assist with conducting employee onboarding including new hire data entry, e-verify and document completion. Maintain employee files to ensure accuracy and compliance in preparation for audits. Develop and deliver headcount reporting and other required reporting to the business. Assist in development and maintenance of employee policies and procedures, including the employee handbook and required state supplements. Partner with our benefit vendors and brokers on enrollment issues, carrier feeds, wellness initiatives and employee questions & escalations. Partner with the HR Operations team to triage the ticketing system for HR questions and ensure employees are being responded to in a timely manner. Manage HR System including any changes to structure and keep up-to-date on system updates and new functionality. Your background & requirements: 5-8 years of experience as an HR Generalist with increasing responsibility. Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field. 3+ years of experience as HR support within a call center environment. High growth experience. Experience in ADP or other HR Systems Experience in Monday a plus Strong Excel skills Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills. Must be highly organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines. We can’t wait to learn more about you and meet you at Cohere Health!
