Clinical Product Strategist

Remote Company Overview: Cohere Health is illuminating healthcare for patients, their doctors, and all those who are important in a patient’s healthcare experience, both in and out of the doctors office.  Founded in August, 2019, we are obsessed with eliminating wasteful friction patients and doctors experience in areas that have nothing to do with health and treatment, particularly for diagnoses that require expensive procedures or medications.  To that end, we build software that is expressly designed to ensure the appropriate plan of care is understood and expeditiously approved, so that patients and doctors can focus on health, rather than payment or administrative hassles. Opportunity Overview: In this role you will be instrumental in executing Cohere’s clinical objectives through the functionality of our digital provider portal.  You will be deeply ingrained in Cohere’s clinical strategy and lead cross-functional collaboration to execute it through product enhancements that drive valuable outcomes for payers, providers, and patients.  Your contributions will ensure that Cohere’s clinical needs are prioritized in our product roadmap and successfully built, while ensuring that clinical programs maximize the utility of our product capabilities.   This role offers tremendous opportunity for someone who loves being at the intersection of clinical and product and who can effectively work cross-functionally with a variety of teammates to deliver on goals.  Reporting to the Director of Clinical Transformation, you will play an integral role in developing and executing our roadmap to deliver interventions that guide providers towards the optimal, personalized care plan for patients. What you will do: Deeply understand Cohere’s clinical programs’ needs, including current and prospective clients’ needs, patient and provider needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory landscape Facilitate regular ideation sprints with Clinical Programs, Medical Directors, Product/Design/Engineering, and Growth teams and other internal stakeholders to translate needs into requirements, preliminary concepts, and a product strategy by clinical specialty Serve as voice-of-the-clinical-programs to Product/Design/Engineering team to ensure product roadmap reflects clinical programs’ priorities Evangelize Product roadmap and Product/Design/Engineering team capabilities to Clinical Programs teams to ensure products are fully leveraged in clinical programs Collaborate with Clinical Programs team to implement product enhancements into clinical programs Collaborate with Clinical Analytics team to measure and report impact of product enhancements Support growth of clinical programs by partnering with Growth team to create proposal content that promotes clinical product benefits and participate in client presentations Your background & requirements: Bachelor's degree required (Preferred: MBA, MPH, MHA, or other healthcare-focused or technical post-graduate degree) 3+ years experience in healthcare as a clinician or in a business/administrative role at a health plan or provider organization that involved direct engagement with providers 3+ years experience in product strategy or product management focused on a digital health solution or healthcare service solution High level of executive presence Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to tailor communication style to different audiences and developing effective presentations Demonstrated track record of cross-functional collaboration with clinical, technical, and design-focused colleagues Proficient in using a Mac, Google applications, Jira, and Confluence We can’t wait to learn more about you and meet you at Cohere Health!
