Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. What you’ll do:  Partner with internal stakeholders and IT leadership to develop strategic roadmaps and deliverables that support company initiatives Work cross functionally to identify opportunities and implement enterprise wide technology solutions  Be a change agent and directly support IT PMO leadership with internal process improvement activities and help drive adoption of department best practices and processes with PMO team  Engage with and manage contractors and consultants that support Archer projects  Provide mentoring and support to other members of the PMO team  Plan and coordinate work performed by IT staff and internal clients from project assessment through execution Conduct Project Assessments by defining project goals, scope, requirements, deliverables, and resource needs Manage and develop project cost estimates and tracking to actuals  Develop detailed project plans, sprints, or kan-ban break-outs Create project-level and portfolio-level IT Program and Project Status Reports/Dashboards Research and document comparisons for cost, vendors, & services Participate in recurring compliance activities (SOX, ISO, and other) Create documentation of internal procedures, applications standards and client-facing materials Participate in process definition to support changes in maturity as Archer grows Create, update, and report appropriate metrics to the IT Leadership Team Communicate w/ office-based and remote personnel in different time zones Ability to travel as needed to support projects and company initiatives  What you need: 8-10+ years of IT specific Program and Project Management experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a computer or project management field or equivalent work experience  Extensive practical experience working with and implementing PMO toolsets like Jira, Confluence, MSP and other PPM tools Firm understanding of project financials and project cost accounting  Strong ability to work across domains and multiple technologies  Ability to manage by fact, be objective, and communicate status clearly in few words Ability to be detailed in a in a fast-paced environment Ability to interface and communicate with all levels of the organization Experience leading large cross functional digital transformation initiatives  Ability to map and transform ideas into enterprise technology solutions and communicate impacts of design back to stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication skills  Project and Program Management experience within a regulated industry or transferable experience desired Strong organizational and presentation skills  Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills  Experience utilizing Organizational Change Management principles and methodologies Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives    At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $128,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
