Which means your work is essential for transforming everywhere.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?In this role, you will lead the vmware Sales for the Govt. South Corporate accounts based out of Bangalore. Primary Accounts will include Govt. of Telangana, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, ELCOT, HAL, Ministry of Shipping, Mazagon Dock etc. In doing so, this position will engage & team up with the internal vmware teams in creating new business opportunities, address the in-flight business opportunities. You should possess complete understanding of the buying process of these customers, bring strong relationships in the customer hierarchy, have proven relationships with the System Integrators operating in these accounts. You should possess knowledge & skills on Data Center, Private & Public Clouds, Security & Networking knowledge. The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?This job primarily entails working with the above mentioned set of accounts in creating & addressing business opportunities, evangelizing their IT & Application technology needs, exceeding the assigned Sales Quotas. You should possess prior relationships with key customer executives.What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?In this role, you will lead the vmware sales initiative, build pipeline, build opportunities & meet the assigned sales quotas. In this role, you will be required to lead the vmware conversations with these two customers along with the SE and larger vmware products & services teams. This role requires you to be the vmware point contact for the customer in articulating & creating newer requirements, RFP creations, bidding, including competition objection handling & closing the business for vmware.Where is this role located?Bangalore: The role is considered working from a local VMware office in Bangalore. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
