Search JobsJob DescriptionWorking with Data Center Tools team, you will be directly in charge of reporting and analyzing our key data across the organization that relates to Operational Ownership, Capacity and Charge back finance data. Through the use of tools such as SQL, SQL Reporting Services and Powerbi it will be your job to tell the story and convey the message for supporting our most crucial decisions. Working with multiple streams of data via multiple lines of business and organizational practices you will be challenged to provide the looking glass into just about everything that’s involved in an assets or datacenters lifecycle. This is not purely reporting but also includes being part of a team of developers that deliver tools that facilitate efficiency, accuracy and scale for our Datacenter operations.Goals to accomplish are to understand and analyze each of the use case scenarios that support the business reporting needs.Provide support for development of tooling for specific job functions.Provide support for data gathering by multiple database connects, api’s and existing reporting.Affirm daily and weekly data loads that control and enable our ability to deliver and support tools with integrity.Provide solutions for reporting based on knowledge gained from upstream and downstream requirements.Activities performed daily, weekly, quarterly and year over year will challenge you.Maintenance of existing Reporting supporting daily and weekly activitiesConfirmation of data and access to it via Sql stored Procedures and Scheduling toolsValidation of data as the data inputs and updates come in via multiple work streamsTimely automation updates across multiple toolsWork with Business owners to understand operational requirements.Work with Developers of our line of business tools to incorporate Business owner requirements.The hiring manager for this role is Travis Fetzer, Sr Manager with the Data Center Engineering Operations team specifically in charge of the Data Center System Tools team.
