You are an empowered passionate owner.Position Summary The Enterprise Information Architect is part of the Enterprise Architecture organization and is a technical leadership position accountable supporting the vision, direction, and governance for the F5 Enterprise Information & Data Architecture. You are a recognized data and information practitioner who partners with both business and technology leaders to drive the enablement of digital transformation across the organization. On this journey you are accountable for the artifacts that create alignment between F5’s mission, vision, immediate and long-term objectives. In this role you will advance the information and data architecture practice from within the IT organization.Leadership skills Provides data architecture thought leadership to cross-functional teams in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data access, data integration, data visualization, data discovery, statistical methods, database design and implementationResponsible for supporting increased clarity and alignment between departments of the organization and ensure all our information and data initiatives are aligned towards a common sustainable and secure vision.Develop / Support Enterprise Data Architecture roadmap by managing architectural runways for enterprise data model, enterprise data store/warehouse, information management and advanced data analytics capabilities.Partner with data management development, infrastructure, and security teams and support development of a top to bottom strategy for information and data that includes enterprise models, APIs, integrations, and storage mechanisms.Ability to work in a consultative manner with development teams to mentor them in modeling and requirements generation in distributed enterprise environments.Ability to work with other groups in development of strategies and roadmaps for data.Ability to guide solution architects in data infrastructure, model, and process efforts.Ability to take the customer and business view in to account when creating architecturesTechnological Experience/Expertise Information architecture in transformation efforts.Cloud and SaaS based information architectures.Experience with taxonomy and ontology architecturesUnderstanding of EA Frameworks (ToGAF)Enterprise Modeling – Conceptual, Logical, PhysicalCanonical Modeling.Data Strategy for API and data service layers.Core Data Management solution architecture (MDM).Experience with data architectures supporting AI and MLExperience with relational and non-relational data stores including graph structures.Other Responsibilities Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policiesPromote a diverse and inclusive environment where you lead and workPerforms other related duties as assigned.QualificationsCertified Data Management Professional (CDMP) a plus not required.Agile Experience (Scrum, SAFe)Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Extensive expertise in SQL and Non-SQL databases, graph databases a plus as well as data modeling, both logical and physical; expertise with cloud platforms would be beneficial.Extensive experience providing practical direction on information and analytics platforms in conjunction with EDW tools and technologies.You are a proactive and vocal champion for customers, and diligently speak up for them.Proven track record of delivering information in a cost-effective high value-add way.7+ years data and information systems experienceBachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or Business desired.
