We are seeking a Sr Principal Software Engineer with expertise in building scalable systems and APIs. Responsibilities: · Drive the strategy and technical vision for the API Security team. · Execute projects across multiple teams and build strong collaborations with partner organizations. · Clearly and crisply communicate architectural decisions, plans, and standards for the products we create and support. · Mentor and train other team members in design techniques and coding standards to increase productivity across product areas. · Design, develop, deploy, and maintain frameworks and cloud-native applications. Minimum Qualifications: · At least 10 years of experience in relevant technologies. · Ability to lead high-level discussions on technology strategy and approach. · Experience with general purpose programming languages such as Java, Python, Go etc. · Experience with distributed systems and architecture, and systems integration. · You have a strong bias for automation and provide holistic solutions to complex problems. Preferred Qualifications: · API security background (discovery, management, Security monitoring, reporting), OWASP Top 10 · Experience creating and managing automated build, test, and deployment environments using technologies like Docker, Helm, Terraform, Gitlab etc. · Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services. · Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production use cases and running applications at scale in Kubernetes.
