We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our SaaS / Bot Defense team to accelerate Web Application & API Protection (WAAP) and SaaSification within Bot and Risk Management Group. As a member of the Bot Defense Advanced Service team, you will be responsible for designing and developing unified Cloud solutions for the new landscape of F5 SaaS products. Responsibilities • Build F5 SaaS solution for Bot Defense Security services• Design/develop/enhance Cloud service and management systems • Design/develop/enhance core proxy and SaaS Infra Control Plane and Data Plane processing • Work closely with product, marketing, operation, platform, data system and customer support team to create innovative security solution for Cloud product delivery Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience (7+ years). • Proficiency in Cloud native microservice development and programming languages such as GO, C++, Rust, WASM, Java, Kotlin• Experience in SaaS multi-tenancy, onboarding, metering & billing, monitoring & alerting• Extensive experience in Web Application & API Protection (WAAP), Bot Defense, API Security, DDOS, Reputation Service, Service Policy and Rate Limiting, machine learning (ML) based anti-automation and security experience.• Experience with data/stream processing (e.g., Pub Sub, Kafka, Dataflow), database and data warehouse (Redis, RocketDB, Big Query), system monitoring and performance • Experience with proxy (e.g. Envoy, Nginx), load balancer, CDN and enterprise integration • Experience with container and orchestration technologies, Kubernetes and Microservice • Experience with automation and cloud Infra, workload, modern CI/CD The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
