Senior Financial Analyst - International Controllership OrganizationDescription -GSR COE team (Global Statutory Reporting) is responsible of preparation of required statutory financial statements for HP entities as well as driving comprehensive statutory audit end to end excellence with EY. Our teams combine a blend of central and country expertise to deliver a consistent and standardized approach to financial statement preparation process as well as statutory audit.The opportunity:Applies developed subject matter knowledge to drive Statutory audits of different legal entities in compliance with the local regulatory requirements. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations.Responsibilities:End-to-end ownership of statutory audits for all the legal entities assigned with diverse nature by working closely with external auditors.Preparation of Financial Statements as per accounting standardsCollaboration with Controllers and other stakeholders to ensure complete analysis of the Financial statements.Standardization and automation of all the audit schedules and audit process for the scope of entitiesEnd to end knowledge of accounting processes, accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP, and other accounting frameworks)Proficient in understanding of Statutory Reporting process, GAAP Bridging & Financial statement preparation.Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.Identifies issues and proposes solutions.Education and Experience Required:First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MBA) preferred.Typically, 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst, controller.Typically experienced in more than one finance function.A previous experience in one of the BIG 4 will be a plus.Proficiency in Spanish or any other European language will be a plus.Knowledge and Skills:Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.Strong technical aptitude relating to accounting systems; (SAP S/4HANA) preferred.Strong analytical skills.Strong business application skills (e.g., S4, Microsoft Excel).Strong communication and influencing skills.Excellent teamwork skillsGood business acumenKnowledge of US GAAP, Local GAAP & IFRSAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.How will we help your personal and professional development?We don’t label you or your performance we look to help you grow your unique potentialSpecial annual Finance Days dedicated to innovation in the profession, directly hearing from our Chief Finance Officer and other key executivesSkill Champions Development program lead by passionate team members to help you learn while they learn from you as wellTalent management program and Learn2Lead training workshops to accelerate high-potentials career developmentNew disruptive technology introductions sessionsWe love our work environment.
