Reporting AnalystDescription -MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Reporting Analyst your main responsibilities include the data preparation, consolidation and analysis determining the best way to represent it visually to managers and stakeholders.  You are also responsible for quality assurance and process documentation of the main business reports and data sets.Job Description:Produce regular reports and data sets for management team and other stakeholdersEnsure a high quality production of the data sets and compiled reportsInterpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and data visualization dashboards (ie. Power BI, Tableau)Design and develop new reports according to the business needs and KPI’sAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patternsFilter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problemsWork with management to prioritize business and information needsLocate and define new process improvement opportunitiesPropose automation solutions and create necessary documentation for automations such as process design document, play book, architecture and infrastructure document, etc.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities regarding Health and Work safety To learn and comply with health and safety regulations at work, and their application measures;To conduct business in accordance with their preparation and training, as well as instructions received from the employer, so as not to expose to risk of injury or occupational disease both self, and others during the work process; to prevent / minimize environmental pollution;To participate to the EHS risks assessment and the identification of environmental aspects;To not proceed with decommissioning, changing or removing arbitrarily safety devices, especially machinery, tools, technical equipment and buildings, and to correctly use these devices;To immediately inform the manager about any work situation which may be a danger for health and safety of employees, as well as any deficiency of prevention and firefighting systems;To inform the manager and/or the employer about the accidents he suffered;To participate at EHS trainings (at employment, at the workplace, periodical, at the change of workplace or transfer; when introducing a new work equipment or in case of changes of existent equipment) and to perform medical labor safety examinations at employment and periodic;To cooperate as it is necessary with the employer and / or designated EHS employee in order to make possible the achievement of any measures or requirements provided by labor and health inspectors to protect the health and safety of employees;To cooperate as it is necessary with the employer and / or designated EHS employee in order to allow the employer to ensure that the work environment and conditions are safe and without health and safety risks in his area of activity;To learn and comply with legislation requirements in the field of health and safety at work, and with provisions of HP Inc. standards;To provide all the necessary information required by the labor and health protection inspectors;To comply with the fire protection provisions issued by the company management.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 2 years experience in the fieldProven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data AnalystTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniquesStrong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyProactive at queries, report writing and presenting findingsBS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or StatisticsCOMPETENCIES:Creativity, problem solving skills, flexibility, organizational and planning skills, effective communication skills, atypical case tolerance, client orientation, working under pressure, influence, team spirit, conflict resolution skills, awareness responsibilities, strong spirit of initiative, perception of emergencies, presentation skills and counseling.Specific:Team player attitude, with the ability to work with diverse teams, multiple organizational levels and across business functions.Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills.High level of initiative and motivation.Resourceful, quick learner and dependable.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Resourceful, quick learner and dependable with demonstrated leadership skills.Desired majors include Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer and Construction Engineers.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.Technical writing, presentation and critical thinking skills to quickly grasp the concepts and components of the pulp and paper industry and process application.Job -FinanceSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Romania)Travel -NoRelocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
