Our innovation springs from a team of individuals, each collaborating and contributing their own perspectives, knowledge, and experience to advance the way the world works and lives.We are looking for visionaries, like you, who are ready to make a purposeful impact on the way the world works.At HP, the future is yours to create!Responsibilities: Critical member of the Scrum Team: assist in grooming stories, actively participate in Scrum meetings, proactively contribute to define and complete testing deliverables, responsible for sprint deliverables.Responsible for project-team testing requirements, support and direction from product owners, automated test development and maintenance for both existing software applications and newly built software products powered by distributed architecture.Plan and build required test data for automated tests which are self-contained and portable across distributed environments.Analyze complex functional requirements, perform research on current processes, design tests and create supporting documents, and interact with the product owners to develop test plans and test scripts.Prioritize, design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the most critical components of the applications get required test coverage.Proactively and materially contribute to the development of the comprehensive test strategies together with department members and other stakeholders. Provide QA process improvement recommendations.Lead, guide, and train QA Team membersHelp teams to troubleshoot application issues in production environments.Interact with team members working in hybrid environment.Work with external teams to request data & troubleshoot issues. Qualifications:Experience of building a successful software product(s) throughout its lifecycleThis role requires good software engineering, manual and automation test skills; good problem-solving and scripting/programming skills.Experience within high tech and/or software development industry is a strong plus.Strong technical background with corresponding experience in software developmentIn-depth understanding of SDLC, branching strategies, source control (GitHub, etc.).In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum Software Development methodologyExcellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders.Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL platformsPeople leadership skills including interpersonal, teamwork, mentoring, technical development, motivational, and communication.Core SkillsGood analytical skills and the ability to convert user stories and performance data into testing plans/requirementsHands-on experience with Automated API’s, UI Frameworks, and tools…Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum Software Development process and tools – ADO, GitHub, CI/CD, etc.Strong Bonus SkillsProficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Go, JavaScript, React, and C++Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor, TestNG, and/or others is a plus.Experience testing desktop applications on Windows and/or LinuxSolid understanding of web APIs and API Testing using JMeter automation tool.High level understanding of Data Science conceptsWorking experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesNice-To-Have SkillsWorking experience with container workflowsWorking experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plusHands-on testing experience of AWS platform services & tools is a plus.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or equivalent.5+ years of relevant experience as QA Lead Engineer, Sr. SW Engineer, or equivalentSustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
