This Communications Lead will become a valued member of a high-energy diverse team responsible for driving our global transformation. Job description: Effective communication is a core capability required for the successful execution of real estate transformation and optimization to support the new way of hybrid work. This role will be accountable for the enablement of communications and change management support to the global team of project managers, facility managers, and other Corporate Real Estate stakeholders to smoothly deliver a portfolio of complex cross-functional initiatives, guide employees through their change journey, achieve operational excellence leading with the employee experience in mind, minimizing business disruptions and resistance to change.Responsibilities: Develop, drive, and evaluate executive communications strategies and programs (internal or external)Independently develop and implement a comprehensive effective communications strategy for transformational projects and initiatives impacting employee experienceDevelop targeted messaging to engage various levels of audience and diverse sets of stakeholdersDevelop messaging and communications collateral with utmost proficiency, timeliness, and accuracy (presentations, replays, emails, etc.) for “All Manager” and “All Employee” types of company meetingsProactively solicit the "voice of" various internal audiences (i.e., field, senior leaders, HR, first-level managers, and all employees), sharing that information with business leaders to drive better, more impactful content and communicationsCreate messaging outlines, project communication outlines, announcementsDevelop presentation materials, including speaking points and speaker notes, internal communications for executives, employee and management communications, memos, announcements, FAQs, Q&AsBe the thought leader in executive, managerial or employee communications, and contribute to the development and adoption of innovative principles and ideas across HPActs as a technical and strategic consultant to lower-level staffSupport workload balancing between internal team members and agency contractors as requiredEducation and Experience Required: First-level university degree with a focus in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, Business Administration or similar; advanced degree or professional license strongly preferred6+ years of work experience in a related field is desiredKnowledge and Skills: Superior writing and editing skills - recognized for "near perfection" writing and editing skills and often asked to edit the work of othersSuperior communication, influence, presentation, and negotiation skillsSuperior understanding of the HP Brand, colors, and templates and ability to use, adapt and create communication templates for the teamAbility to create effective presentations using storytelling and dataAdvanced stakeholder management and change management skillsSuperior listening and people skills, high levels of tact and diplomacySuperior organization and program management skillsAbility to link communications plans and activities to business resultsSuperior knowledge and understanding of employee communications methodologies, tools, and vehiclesAbility to derive key points from a large volume of information (“net out the message”)Proven experience managing, leading, driving, and measuring virtual teams toward a common goalFluency in EnglishAbility to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom, including most senior company managementAbility to “read the room”, and pivot the conversation mid-point as requiredExcellent team-leading and collaboration skills across multiple business functions and geographiesStrong understanding of diverse cultures, terrains, and environmentsMust be comfortable using various collaboration software and writing tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook, and quickly adapt to new tools and processes as required#LI-POSJob -Corporate AffairsSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
