Production Supervisor, NPIStatus: Exempt (Salaried)Department: NPI ProductionPosition SummaryThe NPI Supervisor leads their team of NPI technicians from start to finish on all new product launches. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a thorough knowledge of manufacturing best practices along with strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. The NPI Supervisor must be prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the programs and customers’ needs. The NPI Supervisor position is expected to always represent Plug Power with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead individuals responsible for diverse manufacturing technologies, including assembly (for pre-production and standard production products), repair, and test.Leads the execution of new programs into the production launch, ensuring adherence to operational requirements.Assign team tasks and lead daily new product efforts to meet manufacturing deliverablesAssist with assembly and manufacturing tasks when necessary to meet deadlines.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Plug Power products and assembly protocol; provide ongoing training and communication to team members.Work with Manufacturing Engineering staff to develop and define Standard operating procedures.Identify and communicate engineering/process documentation discrepancies to ensure production of repeatable products while meeting all quality requirements.Work with NPI planners to manage materials deliveries and key delivery dates.Provide daily reports on project statuses.May support duties of an NPI Manager as required.Adhere to safety standards at all times while enforcing safe work habits with all team members; this includes all OSHA regulations and facility safety guidelines.Assist in performance management activities including preparation of performance evaluations, recognition efforts for strong performing team members, and assistance with disciplinary matters as necessary by partnering with NPI manager and HR.Perform other related duties as assignedThis position may require working outside of the normal work schedule as needed Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferredManufacturing industry experience; preferably within a technology product manufacturing facilityPrevious supervisory experience highly preferredProven ability to collaborate effectively within a teamSuperior interpersonal skills and communication abilitiesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailDemonstrated proficiency with project management and team leadershipPay Rate:$62,700.00 - $94,050.00We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below:✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
