The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated and has a strong interest in leading edge memory circuit testing and development. You are comfortable working with Python or in other scripting languages such as perl and tcl. Coursework or relevant experience in CMOS memory or datapath circuit design is required. Bachelors and 12+ years of related experience; at this level a postgraduate degree is typically expected or Masters degree and 10+ years of related experience or PhD and 7+ years of related experience In this role, you will be involved in all phases of silicon validation, including test hardware specification and deployment, test software development, data acquisition and analysis. Your enthusiasm and passion will help our team bring the most advanced memory architectures on the leading edge finfet process node into production. Job ResponsibilitiesLead development and definition of memory parametric test structures, work with cross functional teams to integrate parametric structures into overall test chipWork with product teams to define memory content on product test chips, provide direction on memory testing requirements, drive consistency in memory test methods between product teams, diagnose memory faults driving root cause thru PFA/EFADevelop and configure lab and test equipment for computer controlled data acquisitionCreate, modify and debug memory test software using Python programming languageConduct memory testing, collect and organize data. Perform data analysis using Python scripts, spreadsheets and other analysis tools.Document test procedures, summarize and communicate test results to memory design team. Required SkillsetFamiliarity with modern memory architecture and design concepts.Good understanding of transistor level circuit behavior.Skills in Python programming (preferred), perl or tcl. Preferred skillset, Areas of Focus and Professional DevelopmentUnderstanding of memory failure modes and statistical analysisKnowledge of CMOS fabrication methods, digital circuits and device physics.Linux and shell scripting skills. Communication / Intrapersonal SkillsGood communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsMotivated, self-driven and detailed oriented, can multi-task and work within deadlines.Additional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $111,000 - $185,000.This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
