The Director is responsible for the partner experience roadmap and specifically for areas that are driven by marketing. This includes partner communications, Equinix’s partner portal, the annual Partner Executive Forum, Partner Directory on .com as well as partner facing content that enables partner sellers at scale.Role success is measured qualitatively (firsthand partner feedback) and quantitively (surveys & partner engagement score). This role collaborates with the Partner Sales Organization, Solutions Marketing, Regional Partner Marketing, and other teams across Equinix.ResponsibilitiesPartner Experience StrategyDefine and execute the multi-year Partner Experience roadmap that anchors around key tenets: partner communications, partner content, partner listening methods (including survey & annual forum) and supporting platformsCollaborate with Partner Programs team and Regional Partner Marketing leaders to align behind the vision and drive adoption for the best partner experienceDesign the most effective partner communications strategy that drives increased engagement with partners globally and tailor the strategy based on partner type and personasWork with the global campaigns team to adapt direct content for leverage “To” partners as well as “Thru” partnersBuild out an industry community to maintain a leadership position in Partner ExperiencePartner Platforms, Tools, & Marketing OperationsOwn the strategy for the Partner Portal, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, and work with regional teams to continuously improve the overall experience and effectiveness for partners as measured by sign ups and portal engagementBuild out the partner marketing operations function in service to regional teams that helps to define prioritized partners & associated support modelsBuild out the global partner database and corresponding partner personas and provide insights back into the business to optimize decision makingLeadership & Team ManagementTrain, mentor, and coach the team to perform and achieve the Partner Marketing goals and metricsSupport the team’s development and become the reference for the Channel using the most updated tools and platforms in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Partner Management Software, Data Analytics, and Event /Industry/Channel shows, among othersInfluence others through communication and collaboration with an enthusiastic approach, resilience, and the agility to correct direction if necessaryMotivate the team and peers by being a role model that drives changes and celebrates achievementsQualifications10-years of experience in leading a Global Partner Comms/Programs/Partner Marketing or Partner Experience team at a SaaS companyThorough understanding of all Partner Eco-system types (e.g. Cloud/Tech Alliances, NSPs, Resellers) and routes to market and knowledge of partner sales, strategy and market developmentAbility to execute quickly with high attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience developing and implementing enterprise-wide change management initiatives around Partner ExperienceProven success uncovering key insights through partner research and leveraging those insights to be actionableProven effectiveness communicating with senior business leadersExperience using collaboration and/or journey mapping tools and partner platformsSkills & AttributesInclusive leadership and management skills in leading teamsRobust analytical and critical thinking capabilities and effective decision-making skillsCollaborative – able to maneuver comfortably through complex organization dynamics and able to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Agile – Provide leadership and guidance to marketing teams in navigating changes and comfortable leading change in times of uncertainty and ambiguityBusiness Savvy - Know our business and be able to deliver the outcomes by working collaboratively with different functions across the Company Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
