We are proud champions of equal opportunities for everyone.About the RoleThe Grants Management team is growing, and we are seeking a Principal Product Manager to help build the next generation of Workday Grants Management. This is a hands-on role that involves collaboration across the company, our customers, and our partners. We are looking for an experienced professional with proven success in leading and delivering research and grants management product solutions. As the voice of the customer, you will partner with a diverse group of Workmates across multiple products and functions to ensure that the product we deliver not only satisfies the needs of our customers, but also provides them with a best-in-class experience.The Principal Product Manager will lead both product discovery and product delivery on the most important product outcomes for our customers to achieve grant excellence.We are a strong group of highly collaborative product managers helping each other every step of the way. You will be the Product Manager for two scrum teams delivering simple, complete, and lovable solutions impacting award contracts, grant accounting, billing and payments, and reporting.We want your perspective and fresh ideas to contribute to our next generation Grants Management solution!About YouDo you have outstanding product discovery skills? Have you previously delivered grant solutions and desire to continue building outstanding products with large product teams?Basic Qualifications10+ years of product management experience delivering research and grant management solutionsOther QualificationsComfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to translate customer needs into requirements and product vision while bringing a point of view to the roadmapAchieve vision and product outcome ownership by partnering with Dev, QA, Services, UX, and Research to understand functional requirements, navigate solution ideation, and delivery regular value slices to customers.A fast learner who pays attention to details and thrives on creatively solving tough problems in a fast-paced agile environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in conveying complex business or technical concepts to a variety of audiences.Passion and ideas for building better financial enterprise business applicationsAs a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law. Workday is an equal opportunity employer. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
