You will empower and drive our customers’ implementations by setting up the project planning, staffing, governance and shaping the development of the key project deliverables like the project charter or the issues log. As the main point of contact for both customer and Workday teams, you will be working hand in hand with the Customer Project Manager to resolve issues that stand in the way of project success. You will also be responsible for managing the agreed budget and delivering the project successfully and profitably. What you’ll be doingProject manage Workday product implementationsEnsure the project is delivered within the budget outlined in the SOWEnsure projects are properly planned and staffedCollaborate with the customer project manager to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframesPresent at Executive Steering Committee meetingsProvide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources working on your implementationsAssist in the transition of the customer from Professional Services to Product SupportEnsure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementationShare your experience and provide oversight over other projects and their success within the framework of our Delivery Assurance quality controlWork with Workday Partners to ensure project complianceIdentify opportunities to position other service offeringsBe a liaison for Professional Services when interacting with sales and/or business developmentParticipate in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach and develop a proposal/SOW What you will achieve in your first 12 months:You’ll be an expert in Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagementsYou will be able to share your knowledge and experience in the context of Delivery Assurance and internal initiativesDemonstrate competency in managing the Workday HCM, Financials, and/or Planning product suite implementationsFull project P&L ownershipAbout YouThe role requires a blended mix of business skills, customer focus and desire to support the Delivery team to secure their success.Basic Qualifications:4-6+ years delivering enterprise business applications projects3+ years experience in managing a delivery team in a company or in a consulting environment.2 end to end Finance ERP implementation software deployments, including: Financials, Procurement, Planning and Analytics.1 Multinational deploymentAbility to travel up to 25%Other Qualifications:Experience as Executive Sponsor on key projectsExcellent communication skillsLanguages: English and an additional European language would be beneficial but not essential Willingness to ‘roll up one’s sleeves’ and assist wherever needed.Leadership abilities to empower and focus the organisation on team and individual objectives.Contribute to the strategic direction of the Professional Services organisation through leading and participating on internal initiatives.Promote a positive and inclusive working environment.Are you being referred to one of our roles?
