We build a decision support system to grow and scale our business. In this role, you will be responsible for consulting with Senior ES (Employee Success, or HR at Salesforce) and business leaders to transform raw people data into meaningful and practical business insights using a data-driven approach and applying strategic analytic skills. The key focal points for this role will be providing strategic partnership and analytics solution delivery for Salesforce’s Chief People Officer and other executive leaders in partnership with the broader People Analytics team. The candidate must have extensive experience with using data wrangling and, ideally, has prior experience working with all areas of people analytics data, such as Diversity & Inclusion, Talent, Compensation, and Recruiting.Primary Responsibilities:Partner with Senior HR and business leaders to identify key people metrics that align with business strategies and help to drive decisionsProduce concise, story-driven presentations to communicate analytic insights.Provide training and enablement to ES and business partners on the use of analytics and basic statistical measurements.Use mathematical concepts, statistical analysis, experience, and industry knowledge to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.Design and implement data models using statistical principles (e.g., regression, correlation, etc.)Prepare and audit people-related data, checking and ensuring accuracy for analyses and statistical modeling.Architect effective, scalable, and easy-to-understand dashboards and reporting solutions based on statistical analyses to identify useful and practical insights for the HR team and business leadersEnsure solutions promote simplicity and efficiency and conform to enterprise and architecture standards and guidelines.Partner with the enablement organization and operations team to provide end users training, support, and technical assistance.Lead, guide, and support team members and help streamline the work process to improve efficiency and consistency.Use Tableau to build, maintain, and update interactive data dashboards and visualizations.Assist in creating communication materials and presentations to support analysis, implementation of programs, or process updates.Knowledge and Skills Requirements:Outstanding data analysis and quantitative skills, including attention to detail and ability to manage various data points to achieve a common goal (people knowledge, internal data, external tools)Advanced ability to advise partners and translate business problems into research to inform decisionsProven ability to effectively communicate analytics insights to non-technical audiences, including senior executive leadershipAdvanced ability to investigate, analyze and solve complex problems/issuesDemonstrated track record for planning, completing, and auditing work; able to see and apply results strategically and systematically, breaking down problems or processes into their parts and developing several alternative solutions.Ability to partner, influence, and work effectively with all levels of an organizationAbility to maintain the confidentiality of critical information, issues, and eventsExcellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to report and persuade different levels, including senior management.Expertise in using Tableau to present insights through visual analysisAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment, balancing multiple prioritiesEducation/Experience:BS/BA degree in Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Information Management, or a related quantitative field7+ years of professional experience in analytics, finance, statistics, consulting, or other related fields SQL is required.Proven experience with Data Analysis, Business Analysis, and visualization tools like TableauExperience with Workday or other HRIS, applicant tracking, and performance management systems preferredExperience in data transformation and modeling disparate data using Python or other methodologies is a plus.Experience in a cloud-based analytics ecosystem like AWS, Azure, etc., is a plus.AccommodationsIf you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.Posting StatementAt Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
