Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.  ROLE SUMMARY: In this role, you will be supporting material flow process projects including engineering change implementation, floor visuals, facilities and SAP maintenance, and developing new continuous improvement projects. You will be a leader in driving our customer service philosophy. This position is located at our manufacturing facility in Normal, Illinois and reports directly to the Process and Configuration Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES: Improve and implement projects and layout coming to the plant with the full coordination of cross functional teams such as facilities, safety, and material handling.  Oversee the required headcount for the project implementation while communicating cross-functionally until a proper buy off Responsible for implementing end to end engineering change coordinated by NPI Team with the support of Engineering Change Technicians and Continuous Improvement Technicians Responsible for the Visual management among the plant sets buffer calculations, sets up new parts plans, sets plant defaults, overrides parts and times that do not fit the system as required, reloads or updates modules (pull card, loop size, EPS, etc.), runs reports as required / creates, monitors, modifies, or deletes broadcast codes for manifest changes per production build and Engineering Work Orders (change broadcast based on break point of EWO) Maintain all the SAP Configuration to properly run the Material Flow Operation with proper locations audit Develops, improves, and maintains standard work Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of this position. QUALIFICATIONS:  Masters degree in engineering, supply chain, or program management or 10 years of equivalent experience required 7+ years of experience in high volume manufacturing environment (automotive preferred) 7+ years of practical material handling and process equipment Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skill Experience using engineering design software such as AutoCAD preferred Experience with Materials Requirement Planning “MRP” Software such as SAP preferred Strong leadership skills, experience in organizing multiple teams, experience managing teams While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
