Job Requisition ID #23WD69538Position OverviewThe Autodesk InfoDrainage team is looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our Innovyze team. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a high performing engineering team, delivering a hybrid Desktop/Cloud engineering design product.  Innovyze, an Autodesk company, is the global leader in building innovative, industry-leading software for the water industry for over 35 years. Innovyze serves thousands of clients including the largest utilities, Engineering News Record (ENR) design firms, consultancies, and treatment plants around the world.The role can be based in the UK or western/central Europe with the option to work remotely.Responsibilities: Manage a high performing team to develop cutting edge water management solutions in product-based workflows, using both Cloud and Desktop tools.Work closely with stakeholders to define scope and deliverables for upcoming releases and roadmaps.Lead the development of testable, readable, and effective production quality code using Typescript and C#. Design and architect complex backend containerized and serverless microservices on AWS while leveraging AWS Lambda. Integrate with high scale data solutions such as AWS IoT, Kinesis and Snowflake to create comprehensive and scalable solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues in the design and implementation of solutions. Function as the technical lead for various engineering initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years’ experience, preferably architecting and building back-end data services, APIs, or microservices in a large-scale production environment. Minimum 3 years leading software engineering teams.Knowledge of Desktop development environments.Strong Knowledge of AWS with services such as Aurora, RDS, S3, Fargate, Lambda, EKS (or ECS). Experience architecting and building high scale event driven architectures.  Preferred Qualifications:Strong experience using AWS Lambdas is a plus. Working experience with AWS IoT is a plus.  Working experience with IAC (terraform / cloud formation) is a plus.Understanding machine learning concepts is a plus.  Experience with React and its ecosystem.At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
